Meet the Attorney - Kellin Gent

Hi there! Nice to meet you — I’m Kellin.

I’m proud to call the Triad home and to serve the community where I live and work. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from East Carolina University before going on to pursue my law degree at Elon University School of Law, which brought me to Greensboro.

I began my career as an Assistant Public Defender, standing beside people in some of the hardest moments of their lives — experience that continues to shape how I advocate today.

Deciding to hang my own shingle, I wanted a practice that was rooted in holistic defense. You (yes, you!) are more than a case number or a single event — your story, your circumstances, and your future all matter. Legal strategy should take the whole person into account, not just the incident or the charging documents. I take the time to understand what’s happening beneath the surface so we can pursue outcomes that protect not only your rights, but your stability and long-term goals.

Outside the office, I’m a proud book nerd, an avid gym-goer, and a cat dad to two very opinionated supervisors, Bow and Tie. Curiosity, discipline, and heart guide both my life and my advocacy.
