FAQ

  • What time does court start?

Generally, court will begin at 9am. Depending on the specific court, that start time may vary. Make sure to confirm with our office what time you will need to be in court.

  • What should I wear to court?

Please dress as close to business casual as possible. The Courts are understanding if you have to come in other clothes (i.e. work clothes.) However, if that is not the case, putting your best foot forward and dressing nice is always our suggestion.

  • Do I need to come to court if I hire you?

Yes, unless you are told otherwise by someone with our office.

  • What if I cannot make it to court?

While we will not be able to guarantee the case will be continued, please reach out to our office as soon as you realize there is a conflict. If there is any relevant documentation you can provide for your absence, please do so as soon as possible as well.

  • How much are court costs?

Court costs will vary depending on the charge and any applicable fees. We would advise to budget anywhere from $200-$300 for costs.

  • Can I bring my cellphone to court?

Typically, no. However, if your phone is required for court (i.e. evidence or certificates), please let us know so we can get clearance for you to bring it in.
